Chambery is closer to Tignes than all the other ski airports. It saves you at least an hour on transfers. Many UK routes to Chambery are now available, including Nouthern regional airports with Jet2 and London airports with Snowjet. As the thetigneschaletcompany says you'll find all the details on Skyscanner.
Yes, Chambery is great in that it is so much closer.
However beware; it is more liable to closure in bad weather. Chambery airport has been known to close every once in a while. We have had clients who have experienced this. Planes usually get diverted to Lyon or Grenoble.
